Course Details

When one finds themselves in an unavoidable gunfight, movement is critical to being able to prevail.  Stand still and you will very likely find yourself ventilated by your attacker.  This one day course teaches you how to move, plant, fire and move again.   Moving and shooting at the same time will also be taught without sacrificing accuracy in the process. 

 

Topics discussed:

-Proper movement with a firearm in hand

-Moving, planting then shooting

-Moving and shooting concurrently

-Maintaining accuracy and stability while moving

Required Equipment

Handgun - Must have taken Defensive Handgun 2 or equivalent prior to taking this course.

- Open mind  

- Handgun

- Three Magazines (If they hold 10 rounds or less 5 magazines)

- Quality Holster

- 500 rounds minimum ammunition, but bring 1,000 if you want to get the full benefit of all the drills.

- Eye and ear protection

 

Rifle - Must have taken Defensive Rifle or equivalent prior to taking this course.

- Open mind  

- Rifle

- Three Magazines 

- Quality Sling

- 400 rounds of ammunition

- Eye and ear protection

 

Shotgun - Must have taken Defensive Shotgun or equivalent prior to taking this course.

- Open mind  

- Shotgun

- Quality sling

- 300 rounds of birdshot

- Eye and ear protection
